Refund Policy
At Gunma Halal Food, we strive to provide a smooth shopping experience. However, certain situations may require refunds, cancellations, or additional charges. Please review the policy below to understand our process and your rights.
1. Delivery and Shipping Charges
- Orders over 8,500 yen qualify for free delivery, except for Okinawa, where free delivery is unavailable.
- For orders below 8,500 yen, a delivery fee of 1,200 yen will apply. including Okinawa.
2. Order Cancellation and Incorrect Address
2.1. Incorrect Address Provided
If an incorrect postal code or address is provided, resulting in the package being undeliverable and returned to us, the following charges will apply:
- You will be charged 1,200 yen for the original delivery attempt
- An additional 1,200 yen will be charged for the return shipping.
- This results in a total charge of 2,400 yen (1,200 yen for delivery + 1,200 yen for return shipping), even if the package is never received by you.
It is important to double-check your address during checkout to avoid these unnecessary costs.
2.2. Cancelling an Order
If you wish to cancel your order, here’s the policy of our shop:
- If the order is still being processed (not yet shipped), you may cancel it without any additional charges by contacting us immediately.
- If the order has already been shipped, but you still want to cancel it:
- You will need to pay 1,200 yen for the initial delivery attempt and 1,200 yen for the package to be returned to us
- This results in a total charge of 2,400 yen (1,200 yen delivery fee + 1,200 yen return fee).
3. Refund Policy
3.1. Refund Request Period
To qualify for a refund, you must contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order. Refund requests made after this period may not be accepted.
3.2. Damaged Products
If a product is damaged during delivery, we will issue a refund based on the percentage of the damage. For example, if a product is 50% damaged, you will receive a 50% refund.
3.3. Missing Products
If any product from your order is missing, we will issue a full refund for the missing item, including any applicable taxes
3.4. Expired Products
If you receive a product with an expiration date that expired before the shipping date, we will issue a full refund, including taxes, for the product
3.5. Disliked Products
If the product delivered matches your order but you decide you do not like it, we cannot issue a refund. Refunds are only applicable for issues like damage, missing items, or errors in the order
3.5. Out-of-Stock Products
If you place an order and the product you ordered has already been paid for but is later found to be out of stock, we will issue a full refund for that product. The refund will include any applicable taxes
4. Refund Process
4.1. How Refunds Are Processed
- Credit/Debit Card Payments: Refunds will be returned to the same card used for payment. This process may take up to two weeks, depending on your bank.
- Cash on Delivery Orders: Refunds will be issued as points credited to your account on our website. Points are credited instantly, with 1 point equal to 1 yen
- Bank Transfers: Refunds via bank transfer are available only if the refund amount is 2,500 yen or moreRefund amounts below 2,500 yen will be credited as points.
4.2. Refund Methods
Refunds are processed through the following methods:
- Credit/Debit Card Refund
- Bank Transfer (for eligible amounts of 2,500 yen or more)
- Store Points
We do not offer refunds through other methods
